La semana pasada nuestro colegio recibió la visita profesores de diferentes colegios y universidades de Noruega, Francia y Reino Unido con los que colaboramos junto con la Universidad Católica de Valencia en el Proyecto Europeo CLAE II desde el año 2019.
El principal objetivo del proyecto es desarrollar el pensamiento crítico y la metacognición en el aula. Por ello, una de las partes más interesantes del evento consistió en que los profesores implicados visitaron nuestro centro para comprobar cómo trabajan los alumnos de Infantil, Primaria y Secundaria.
Para nuestros alumnos ha sido una gran oportunidad para demostrar cómo trabajan en el día a día sus proyectos y sus reflexiones de aprendizaje a través de la metacognición y diferentes metodologías activas.
El resto de las jornadas se desarrollaron en las instalaciones de la Universidad Católica de Valencia, donde tuvimos la oportunidad de participar en diferentes actividades y ponencias basadas en el pensamiento crítico aplicado en el aula.
En definitiva, ha sido una experiencia realmente enriquecedora y motivadora tanto para alumnos como para profesores. Hemos compartido experiencias educativas que refuerzan nuestro esfuerzo diario y, a la vez, nos permiten aprender y avanzar hacia un paradigma educativo en el que la interculturalidad y desarrollo del pensamiento crítico son necesarios.

Last week our school hosted the visit of teachers from different schools and universities from Norway, France and the United Kingdom. We have been collaborating with them, as well as with the Catholic University of Valencia in the European Project CLAE II since year 2019.
The main objective of the project is to develop critical thinking and metacognition in the classroom. Therefore, one of the most interesting parts of the event was that the guest teachers visited our school to see how the infant, primary and secondary students work.
It has been a great opportunity for our students to demonstrate how they work on their projects and their reflections on learning through metacognition and different active methodologies.
The rest of the sessions took place at the facilities of the Catholic University of Valencia, where we had the opportunity to participate in different activities and presentations based on critical thinking applied in the classroom.
In short, it has been a truly enriching and motivating experience for both students and teachers. We have shared educational experiences that reinforce our daily efforts and, at the same time, allow us to learn and move towards an educational paradigm in which interculturality and the development of critical thinking are necessary.
